Chattanooga Pelvic Floor Therapy

This workshop on June 22nd from 10am - 12pm is open to women of any age & stage of life interested in learning more about the pelvic floor and specific ways Yoga practice can support its healthy function.

During the workshop we will review basic anatomy of the pelvis and the pelvic floor musculature. We will discuss and experience ways in which working with the breath and core activation contribute to the health of the pelvic floor, and how we can work within specific yoga postures and positions to soften, stretch, and mindfully strengthen this area of the body.

Workshop includes brief lecture + discussion, breath practices, pelvic floor engagement tools + techniques, and a mindful + intentional yoga practice with emphasis on ways we can soften, strengthen, stabilize, and stretch this integral part of the body.

Cost: $30 No yoga experience necessary.
